Position Summary
Pinnacle Propane sells propane gas to residential commercial and wholesale customers as well as selling and leasing propane tanks to residential and commercial users. Our Bulk Drivers provide propane to our residential and commercial locations in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining awareness of customer satisfaction and public safety.

FLSA Status: Nonexempt (Fulltime)
Reports To: Operations Supervisor
Bulk Drivers are eligible for a $3000 SignOn Bonus.
SignOn Bonus Policy:
- Payout would apply to any new candidate or former employee with a separation before 1/1/2020.
- Newhire will be eligible foran initialpayment of $750 following30 daysfrom his/her date of hire to be paid out on the next payroll.
- Newhire will receivefinalpayout of $2250 following 6 months from his/her date of hire to be paid out on the next payroll.
- Newhireforfeitsthe entire bonus $3000 if he/she resigns isterminatedfor cause or fails anyportionof the new hire screening process prior to their 30th day of employment.
- Employeeforfeitsthe second payout $2250 if he/she resigns or isterminatedfor cause after their 30th day of employment but prior to their 6th completed month of employment.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Safely load and deliver propane via bobtail truck to residential and commercial locations
- Fill empty customer tanks of all sizes by pulling the hose from the truck to the tank location(Customer tanks may belocatedindoors or outdoors)
- Properly fill out driver logs and daily paperwork and mail paperwork to themain officedaily
- Perform all truck maintenance daily verify all safety supplies are on the truck keep inside and outside of truck clean and orderly and notify managers of any issues that need to be fixed
- Maintain positive friendly working relationships with all customers meeting delivery window time frames and dependable and reliable expectations
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 years of truck driving experiencerequired
- Oil Gas orPropane experience highly preferred
- Valid ClassA B or CCDL (commercial drivers license)required
- HazmatTankerand Air Brakes endorsementindicatedon license
- Ability tooperatein adverse weather conditions including off road
- Ability to abide by all DOT rules and regulations
- Ability to read analyze and interpret documentsmanualsand reports
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients regulatoryagenciesor members of the business community.
- Consistentlydemonstratescooperative teamoriented behavior
- Safety conscious and understand safe work practices foroperatingin the oil and gas field and on the road
- Maintain cleanliness and perform minor maintenance on equipment as well as ensure equipmentis always mechanically sound and in good working orderand report deficiencies to maintenance staff
