Community Vitality and Health Extension Educators are expected to deliver researchbased educational programs and work within team settings that may consist of other Extension Educators community professionals and faculty within and outside of UWE as well as develop relationships with key stakeholder groups vital to the success of Extension. Educational programming in this area would include participatory planning building entrepreneurial communities workforce development community decision support tools leadership development and other areas as identified.

REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY:
This position provides vital support to Extension clientele and requires the successful candidate be available to work in the Sweetwater County Extension Office.

ABOUT SWEETWATER COUNTY:
This position is based in Rock Spring Wyoming Sweetwater County. Sweetwater County is in the southwestern part of Wyoming and strategically situated at the crossroads of Interstate 80 and U.S. Highway 191 with a population of 42272. Rock Springs has historically been named the Gateway to the West and offers unique ofroad and water recreation resources as well as a wide variety of wildlife. Among the extraordinary natural sites are historic Flaming Gorge the Killpecker Sand Dunes and the beautiful Red Desert. Sweetwater County is also a major cattle and sheep shipping point and the center of large natural trona mines. Other major industries of the area include oil and gas production coal mining electricpower distribution food processing and tourism.
