Hearst is expanding its sales force in Connecticut and is looking for an experienced and dynamic Digital Sales Manager to drive innovation growth and success in our digital advertising division. This role will be responsible for driving success across a range of digital media solutions including OTT display ads DMS products and other digital offerings ensuring a comprehensive and strategic approach to our advertising initiatives.
This role is hybrid but days in office you will need to be able to commute to the Norwalk/Meriden CT offices.
What Youll Do:
- Lead & Develop a Winning Sales Team Coach mentor and motivate a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed digital revenue goals.
- Drive Revenue Growth Identify new business opportunities create strategies to grow existing accounts and push digital sales to new heights.
- Execute CuttingEdge Digital Strategies Stay ahead of industry trends and implement multiplatform resultsfocused selling techniques.
- Collaborate & Innovate Work closely with internal departments clients and executives to develop creative solutions that deliver measurable success.
- Monitor & Optimize Performance Utilize tools like Salesforce Ambition and AIpowered sales platforms to track team success improve efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Develop Key Accounts Build a pipeline of highvalue clients and deliver digital marketing strategies that drive real business growth.
- Serve as a champion for local businesses Collaborating with small and mediumsized enterprises to drive their success through targeted digital marketing strategies. This role will play a key part in optimizing digital media solutions including OTT display ads DMS products and other digital offerings ensuring a holistic and resultsdriven approach to advertising initiatives.
What Were Looking For:
- Proven Leadership Experience Prior experience managing and partnering with digital sales teams coaching sales professionals and achieving aggressive revenue goals.
- Strong Digital Marketing Expertise Understanding of SEO SEM social media advertising reputation management and mobile optimization.
- ResultsDriven Mindset Passion for business development and revenue growth with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- TechSavvy & Analytical Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) digital ad technology and sales performance tools.
- Exceptional Communication & Presentation Skills Ability to inspire teams engage clients and deliver compelling sales pitches.
- Bachelors Degree Preferred or equivalent experience in advertising marketing or business.

The reasonable estimate is $85000 base plus commissions with on target earning potential of $100000 $115000 annualized based on individual performance. A final decision on the successful candidates starting salary will be based on a number of permissible nondiscriminatory factors including but not limited to skills and experience training certifications and education.
