Job Title:Student Worker Grant Writing Intern Charity Champions

Job Description:

Student must be FWS eligible in order to be eligible to work this position. The Grant Writing Interns primary responsibilities will be working with Charity Champions to find grants to help bring funding to these nonprofits. Identify 10 viable grants and draft 5 proposals to foundations and other grantmaking organizations each semester. At least 3 of those proposals need to be finalized and submitted by each semesters end. Research potential leads for government corporate and foundation grants. Will be expected to attend weekly meeting with intern team to update on progress of their work and have at least 1 touch point meeting with organization they serve per week.

Charity Champions are nonprofit organizations chosen by TFNB Your Bank For Life employees after being nominated by the community. Recipients get an awareness marketing campaign and leadership training at no charge to the nonprofit. The awareness campaign begins with a radio interview by the voice of the Baylor Bears John Morris and an onfield presentation at McLane Stadium in front of thousands of Central Texans during a Baylor football game. After football season ends 360 Solutions brings Charity Champions recipients together for worldclass leadership development training during the first and second quarters of every year.

All applicants must be Federal Work Study (FWS) Eligible.

  • Provide support and assistance in a respective area of community service
  • Assist with various projects activities or tasks related to community service
  • Provide excellent customer service to constituents
  • Utilize available resources to perform duties accordingly
  • Serve to enhance outreach for the greater Waco community
  • Must be federal work study eligible
  • Ability to comply with University policies
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
