Job Description

GENERAL PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION: The Campus Activities Board (CAB) Assistant serves as a student leader of the campuss programming efforts. Assist Office of Student Life with coordination and implementation of Campus Activities Board events and activities.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Represent the student bodys voice when selecting future events/activities in conjunction with SGA.
  • Assist with event logistics (setup tear down attendance tracking assisting performers etc.) at Student Life events/activities.
  • Create fliers and other promotional materials for events/activities.
  • Distribute event promotional materials on campus.
  • Assist the Office of Student Life with post-event assessment by providing feedback compiling survey data etc.
  • Attend CAB/Student Life-sponsored events and activities.
  • Attend and actively participate in CAB/Student Life event planning meetings.
  • Actively encourage students to participate and/or get involved on campus.
  • Engage in behaviors that create an inclusive environment where everyone is valued supported and respected.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a current degree-seeking Ivy Tech student enrolled in courses.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalency

PAY RATE:

$15.00 per hour
