Job Description
Clinical Therapist
The Moore Center in Manchester NH is seeking a fulltime Clinician to provide specialized mental health services at our area agency.
The Clinical Therapist will provide coverage for direct individual and/or group counseling and therapy to clients of the Moore Center. The Clinical Therapist will provide multiple aspects of support and guidance to therapists and nonclinical support personnel.
The Clinical Therapist will utilize established evidencebased practices to promote opportunities for growth healing and wellness for identified clients. In addition will provide consultation and summaries with recommendations to intake services and provide clinical support for legal services as needed.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Masters degree in counseling Psychology Social Work or related field preferably with a license to practice. If not licensing supervision is available. (LCMHC LICSW etc.
- Demonstrated knowledge in clinical counseling developmental disabilities psychology or social work.
- Previous experience working as a member of a clinical team in the mental health field is desirable.
- Experience in Illness Management Recovery Model preferred.
- Proficiency in various software applications including Word Excel and Access.
- Valid drivers license and access to a safe operating vehicle during scheduled working hours.
- Licensed by the Board of Mental health preferred
- Masters degrees within one of the following degrees: Social Work Mental Health Counseling Marriage and Family Counselingor another degree qualified for licensure eligibility by the NH Board of Mental Health
Demonstrated knowledge in field of clinical counseling developmental disabilities psychology or social work.
Previous experience working as a member of clinical teams in mental health field desirable.
Experience in Illness Management Recovery Model preferred.
Proficiency in various software applications including Word Excel and Access.
Valid drivers license and access to a safe operating vehicle during scheduled working hours.
$100000/300000 Automobile Liability Insurance.
All staff must adhere to the NH state law requiring mandated reporting of suspected abuse neglect or exploitation. Additionally staff are required to maintain criminal motor vehicle and Bureau of Elderly and Adult Services record checks that meet agency standards. Staff are also required to travel and transport clients when applicable. This includes having access to a reliable vehicle a valid drivers license and maintaining personal auto insurance of $100000/300000.
