OPS Research Technician
A Bachelors degree in microbiology molecular biology chemical engineering or a related field. Appropriate college coursework or technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
The Ding Lab in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry is looking for a fulltime OPS Research Technician to use bacteria and yeast to produce bioactive molecules under microgravity conditions. The successful candidate will design and conduct experiments using microbiology genetics synthetic biology and molecular biology techniques. Additional duties will include but not be limited to general laboratory and equipment maintenance. The Ding lab has multiple interdisciplinary projects and technicians undergrads grad students and postdocs of various backgrounds which provide an excellent training environment for selfmotivated candidates.
Up to $18 per hour
