The Experience

What role will you play as a member of the Colgate
Design develop and test to create quality solutions on time and within budget. To collaborate with business teams / functional teams and IT counterparts for daily support incidents and project activities in different business areas across all geographies.
Ability to understand the requirements related to business problems and transform that into a solution design.
Who are you
You are a Cloud Engineer
Collaborate with Application Development FinOps Cloud Governance and Security teams to help formulate and implement a comprehensive cloud strategy. This includes developing frameworks internal standards governing policies and procedures that align with organizational goals.
Support FinOps initiatives by working closely with finance teams to optimize cloud spending providing insights into cost management and helping to forecast future cloud expenditures.
Guide application teams by offering technical leadership in cloud architecture ensuring that solutions are designfor optimal deployment security performance and high availability.
Develop and maintain a balanced cloud governance framework based on industry standards ensuring compliance with security protocols and other regulatory requirements.
Evaluate and implement proofofconcepts for emerging cloud services and technologies ensuring that the organization stays ahead of industry trends.
Drive cloud adoption and innovation by exploring new cloud services finding opportunities to demonstrate them for business growth and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Collaborate with teams on new and existing business/technology solutions ensuring they align with established standards and contribute to longterm cloud strategy.
Perform regular cloud cost reviews and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Mentor and support teams in understanding cloud technologies standard methodologies and operational processes.
Stay informed of industrywide trends and their potential impact or application to the business ensuring the organizations cloud strategy remains forwardlooking and innovative.
Complete other responsibilities as assigned and ensure compliance with all company policies and standards.

What well need(Required)
At least 46 years in Cloud Engineering
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced team environment
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally
Superior organization project management skills and attention to detail
Strong understanding of cloud computing capabilities and limitations business drivers virtualization technologies
Infrastructure as a Service Platform as a Service and Software as a Service Cloud delivery models
A strong ability to learn new technologies
Thorough understanding of system and infrastructure management in the Cloud environment (Linux/Windows servers firewalls load balancers hypervisors storage monitoring security etc.
Experience with cloud infrastructure and services (GCP AWS etc.
Experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine Cloud Storage Cloud SQL BigQuery and Kubernetes Engine. Handson experience with AWS services like EC2 S3 RDS and Lambda is acceptable and can be considered as a good foundation for the required GCP expertise
Proficiency in configuring and handling virtual networks including VPC subnets and firewall rules.
Experience handling infrastructure deployments using Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform).
Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python Bash etc for automating cloud operations.
Command of software automation production systems (GitHub Selenium etc..
Good understanding ofsecurity principles and standard methodologies including identity and access management encryption and compliance requirements.
What well need(Preferred)
Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Information Technology or Engineering.
Google Cloud Architect within 1 Year (Preferred) orAWS Certified Solution Architect Professional.
Experience in architecting implementing and handling multicloud environments.
Understanding of infrastructure correlations with knowledge of servers networking AD security etc
Proficiency in handling and optimizing cloud costs using tools like Google Clouds Cost Management tools or AWS Cost Explorer and other Finops methodologies.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Understanding of or ability to design solutions across onpremise and multiple public cloud tiers (hybrid).
