Lower School Library Assistant (Starting August 2025
St. Johns School is seeking a talented energetic and knowledgeable parttime Lower School
Library Assistant who has a passion for and knowledge of childrens literature.
Primary Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Lower School Librarian in the daily operations of this vital learning
space ensuring its smooth organization and efficiency.
Execute essential tasks such as processing new materials and other clerical functions as
needed.
Collaborate with parent volunteers to help with special events and various visual displays
in the library.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree preferred
Experience in an elementary program preferred
Excellent computer literacy skills including proficiency in the Google suite
Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse environment and a commitment to developing
ones own cultural competency in a community that celebrates and appreciates diversity.
