Job Description

Position Summary

The Director of Phoenix Connect will be responsible developing implementing and managing a variety of highly engaging and authentic after school programs forK12 students in the areas of academics art health and fitness clubs/club sports and any other innovative activity that will connect children with healthy people and healthy/meaningful/life giving sources.

9:30am6:00pm

School Days

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of school aged children
  • Previous experience managing school programs and associated budgets preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow verbal and written directions
  • Selfmotivated and must be able to work independently
  • Attention to detail prioritization skills and time management skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with public answer questions or provide proper direction for answers
  • Positive kind creative communicative selfless humble and wants to be part of making the lives of children while at school extraordinarily fantastic!
  • Valid Idaho identification
  • Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Major responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Manages directs and coordinatesrecreational activities and after school programs for children in the areas of academics art health and fitness and clubs/club sports.
  • Ensures highquality programs and establishes new program activities.
  • Coordinate with the school administration teachers and other staff to successfully promote and implement programs.
  • Recruits hires trains develops schedules and directs personnel and volunteers as needed. Reviews
    and evaluates staff performance.
  • Promotes and markets the program and services to engage students and parents.
  • Manages program budget.
  • Supervises program assistants.
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned bycampus administration
