Schedule: 20 Hours Days/Evenings Every Other Weekend PartTime BenefitEligible(some shifts could be at satellite locations)

Position Summary:

The Radiology Technologist will perform radiography & angiography procedures under the supervision of the Modality Supervisory Technologist and Modality Medical Director. The Radiology Technologist will:

  • Perform all technical procedures within the respective modality sections as described in the Radiology Policy Manual.

  • Meet the technical competency requirements for the position.

  • Maintain an effective working relationship with all staff.

  • Participate in professional education programs patient/staff safety initiatives and quality assurance/ improvement activities.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Documented training and experience in radiography

  • Current BLS certification

  • Current MassachusettsDPH RadiologicTechnologist Radiography (Full/General) license or ability to obtain registered certification within 12 months of hire and prior to the expiration of a temporary license

  • Current ARRT registered certification in Radiography with RT(R) designation or eligible for ARRT certification

  • Imaging acquisition processing reviewing sending and retrieving equipment (hardware and software); Hospital information system equipment (hardware and software); Communication equipment (e.g. fax telephone email etc..

  • Ability to use computers

  • Ability to speak read and write in English

  • Ability to hear and respond to staff and patient needs

  • Ability to physically position patients

  • Ability to manipulate imaging equipment
