Position Summary:
The Social Service Program Specialist will lead a comprehensive studentsupport system encompassing counseling and mental health services learning supportsdiscipline and suspension management attendance and emotional intelligence/personaldevelopment skills. This role involves providing direct assistance to students and familieshelping them overcome barriers to engaged learning and fostering an environment where allstudents can thrive academically and personally.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Social Work or related field preferred
Experience:
Three 3 years experience in direct service with youth
Previous experience in K12 school settings that serve lowincome students andcommunities
Specialized Knowledge Licenses Etc.:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
