As a Reagent Manufacturing Support Intern you will work in a highly collaborative environment to support the manufacturing process improvement of critical immunoassay reagents used in our products. The project will focus on reagent solution formulation and encompass areas of chemistry biochemistry and process engineering with the goal of improving quality while advancing our understanding of critical process parameters. This is a great opportunity to apply your chemistry and biochemistry knowledge to experimental design problemsolving and process improvement. In this role you will:
Develop experimental methods and execute experiments in the lab with the support of scientists and engineers to achieve project objectives.
Use a combination of chemistry and biochemistry techniques to prepare solutions and test reagents in our biochemistry labs. Evaluate test reagents against quality benchmarks.
Collect analyze visualize and present data to collaborators using Excel JMP and PowerPoint.
Desired Skills/what you will need to succeed:
3rd or 4th year student pursuing a bachelors degree in biology chemistry biochemistry or a related scientific discipline.
Experience through laboratory coursework in chemistry or biochemistry. Familiarity with common laboratory techniques and equipment.
Effective communicator both written and oral; ability to articulate or demonstrate perspectives and best practices.
A problemsolving mindset and enjoyment of working handson in a laboratory setting.
Datadriven decisionmaking skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with a strong sense of organization accountability and ownership.
Ability to work in a diverse crossfunctional team.
What you can expect from us:
This is an inperson fulltime opportunity involving handson work in production laboratory environments.
The internship time frame will be MayAugust 2024.
