Job Description
Job Purpose:QA Techis responsible for performance of quality inspections on relevant shift to monitor production compatibility vs. requirements and avoid internal and external NCRs.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Quality management:
- Inspect and measure product for production. This requires the use of metric tape measures calipers lasers and other tools as needed.
- Record inspection information into electronic based information system using an iPad.
- Perform quality inspections of incoming materials as requested.
- Perform measurement inspections and record process parameters in the production process.
- Ensure that Quality Assurance system is implemented and is working correctly in production areas.
- Must be able to read and use a metric tape measure caliper and instructions.
- Must be able to climb ladders and work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to read prints preferred.
- Must have high attention to detail.
- Previous Quality experience preferred.
- Must have excellent eyesight and be able to see color differences.
- Must be able to pass preemployment screening to include but not limited to background check reference checks drug and alcohol testing.
- Work well with others.
- Ability to work well with hands and lift up to 40lbs.
- Follow Drug Free workplace policy.
- Required PPE; Tyvek suit work gloves safety glasses steel toe shoes.
- MUST BE WILLING TO WORK 2ND SHIFT with availability from 3pm130am Sunday through Thursday or Monday through Friday.
- Ensure Quality Health Safety and Environmental policies are followed.
- Ensure nonconforming product does not escape Jupiter Bach to the customer.
- Quality inspections shall be completed on time and according to the work instructions. Safety is everyone at Jupiter Bachs responsibility. By accepting this position you agree to work safely follow all safety policies look out for the safety of your colleagues report any safety concerns and inform leadership of any safety improvements you feel appropriate.
Training classes for positionto be held as production schedule warrants. Must have steel toe boots at the time of training class.
