Responsibilities:
DevelopandmaintainfirmwareforourSDWANsolution
Collaboratewithhardwareandsoftwareengineeringteamstoensurefirmwarecompatibility
Debugandtroubleshootissueswithfirmwaredevelopment
Designandimplementfirmwarefeaturesandfunctionality
Ensurefirmwarequalityandreliabilitythroughtestingandvalidation
Staycurrentwithindustrytrendsanddevelopmentsinfirmwaredevelopment
ExperienceinworkingwithLinuxkernelandembeddedsystems.
DevelopedusingdifferentprogramminglanguagesincludingPythonPerlandLuaamong others.
Requirements
- Masters degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or a similar field with 45 years of related work experience; or a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 7 years of related work experience.
- Strong foundation in programming concepts particularly in C.
- Understanding of embedded systems architecture.
- Experience with OpenWrt WiFi Drivers Routing protocols Linux devices and kernel compilation.
- Ability to debug C and Python code with experience working with SDK/Toolchain.
- Understanding of OpenWrt experience with wireless protocol stacks and familiarity with the Linux connectivity stack.
- Experience with Linux machine bringup operating system customization and driver porting.
- Proficiency in C and Python with experience using GitHub.
- Good understanding of networking Linux user space and kernel.
