About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Sydney GeneralInsurance team for a defendant lawyer with 3 5 years PQE. Underthe guidance of a Partner recognised by Doyles Guide and togetherwith a team of specialist Lawyers the work predominantly coversthe public and product liability space. Working with some ofAustralias top insurers this role will see you advising onliability and quantum issues policy coverage and interpretationdual insurance and contractual indemnity issues across a variety ofindustries including construction sports hospitality retail andentertainment.
About you
To complement your strong legal skills you will need to be ateam player who enjoys problem solving. You will also need to beable to work with minimal supervision possess sound judgement andhave strong management and organisational areseeking a lawyer with:
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Strong legal technical and drafting skills
- A proven track record in delivering excellent client service
- The ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
- Maturity initiative and good judgement
