Class Summary



Job Description
The Equity & Program Operations Analyst will be responsible for gathering analyzing and synthesizing complex data to support DEI initiatives including tracking key metrics and identifying trends. This position will also be responsible for overseeing and analyzing an Equity Index managing demographic and service data to assess resource distribution and equity outcomes. Additionally the incumbent will supervise and provide guidance on programming to ensure alignment with equity goals lead special projects assess and recommend improvements to enhance equityfocused initiatives. The person selected for this role will serve as a key contact for County employees and external partners fostering collaboration on DEI initiatives.


Essential Duties
  • Coordinating and supporting equityrelated programs and initiatives including planning implementation and evaluation
  • Tracking key metrics on program effectiveness workforce demographics language access and community engagement
  • Preparing and maintaining policy and procedure manuals reports dashboards and presentations
  • Assisting in policy review and updates to support equitable outcomes and compliance with mandates
  • Conducting research on best practices in DEI for integration into policies and programs
  • Facilitating crossdepartmental collaboration to ensure alignment with equity goals
  • Developing internal and external communications including reports and presentations to support transparency and engagement
  • Serving as a liaison between the Equity Office and other departments ensuring program goals are met

Public Speaking Duties
  • Facilitating meetings workshops and discussions to advance DEI initiatives
  • Preparing and delivering presentations to inform on program progress key metrics and DEI efforts
  • Serve as a liaison between the Equity Office and other departments effectively communicating program goals and fostering collaboration with employees and community members
Grade
The grade for this position is C441. Salary will be dependent on education and experience.

Effective 4/11/2023 this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in business administration public administration data analytics public policy or a closely related field AND
  • Five years of professional auditing or analyst experience
    • An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
  • Three years of project management experience
  • Valid drivers license

Preferred Qualifications in addition to the above minimum qualifications
  • Three years of professional experience with the field of Diversity Equity Inclusion and Belonging

Each department is run by a director who is charged with managing operations in a manner which stresses the Countys values.

In addition to the executive side of County government certain services are provided through Constitutional officers and independent elected officials. These external offices are created by the Georgia Constitution or through state law. In Gwinnett they include the Sheriff Tax Commissioner District Attorney Solicitor Probate Court Judge and Chief Magistrate.
