School Hours for paraprofessionals 7:05 AM to 2:05 : Functional Academic Instruction through Access Points to grade level curriculum standards with an emphasis on related services Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills and medical careThis individual will work with Multi Skills and Services (MSS) teachers regular education teachers other paraprofessionals related service providers; including social workers a BCBA physical therapists speech pathologists and occupational therapists in supporting preferred Experience working with kids with significant needs preferredExperience with CPI preferredExperience with data collection and analysis preferredSupport students who require a fully subseparate program with a higher staff to student ratio due to severe cognitive impairments and/or medical concerns. This program is intended to support the districts students who present with the most severe needs in the most restrictive environment within the Billerica Public Schools. Students may require specialized equipment AAC/AT nursing care and individual health plans. Students are engaging with the curriculum through Access Points and require consistent repeated instructional methodology (including utilization of ABA) to meet individual learning goals. Students may require significant related service provision that is part of the program structure due to physical impairments and needs.
