ManpowerGroup Greece on behalf of its client an international law firm is seeking an Accountant to join their team.
Location: Athens Athens
You will be reporting to: CFO
Your daily activities will include and you will be familiar with:
- Making EMEA payments local and foreign invoices.
- Collaboration and communication with the AP team in the USA regarding supplier details supplier credits.
- Monitoring of interbank transactions.
- Management and control of customer accounts.
- Collaboration with the payroll provider and the United Kingdom for payment scheduling.
- Cooperation with the local team to ensure invoices are accurate including VAT.
- Ensuring a clear definition of responsibilities in accordance with the RS Policy regarding the Professional Employees (EAs) preparing the proforma invoices helping improve the process and working with the UK team for guidance.
- Assisting and completing U.S. tax forms (e.g. W8BEN) for U.S. clients.
- Monitoring and recording ICAP requests.
- Communication and collaboration with local departments to ensure smooth processing of procedures.
Requirements
What we are looking for:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Maximum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with banking procedures and transactions.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
- Good knowledge of the English language.
