We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Accountant to join our team in Bucharest!
About the job:
It is a great opportunity to work in a tech-driven company. Full of interesting and challenging projects in a relaxed and friendly environment our headquarters are in the heart of the city at Universitate Square.
What youll get to do:
Maintain day to day accounting records including Bank Trade Payables G/L entries Accruals and Prepayments;
Responsible for uploading requesting approval and posting invoices / receipts in the accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central);
Monthly Intercompany and supplier reconciliations;
Daily reconciliation of the bank statements;
Monthly reconciliation of the vendor balances;
Monthly reconciliation of intercompany transactions and balances;
Monthly reconciliation of accruals and prepayment accounts;
Responsible for the preparation of the information for the VAT returns;
Prepare other ad hoc reports to the CFO or Senior management if needed;
Any other ad hoc requirements related to finance department;
Month end closing procedures that needs to be finalized in 5 business days;
Assisting with the annual financial statements statutory audit.
What you nee to shine:
Bachelors degree in an Economics related field;
Experience of at least 2 years in accounting;
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is a plus;
Very good knowledge of Excel;
Very good organizer;
Attention to details analytical mind;
English knowledge medium level;
Team player;
Can work independently;
Ability to follow documented procedures logical thinking;
Willingness to continuously learn and improve;
Proactive in improving and automating some of the activity;
Capable of researching standards for registering certain operations;
Good handle on working under pressure;
Outstanding work ethics.

- Start with 22 days of annual leave with 2 additional days added each year up to 32 days by your fifth year with us.

- Hybrid work schedule: 60% work from the office and 40% work from home (during your first 3 months youll be in the office full-time)
