The Division Order Analyst II is an intermediatelevel role focused on clerical data entry and research tasks within the Division Order Department. This position ensures the accurate and timely establishment and maintenance of record title ownership for the producing properties of Continental Resources. Key responsibilities include handling routine division order tasks addressing and resolving increasingly complex division order issues and supporting senior analysts. This role requires a highly motivated individual capable of delivering positive results.
Creates and maintains burdened divisions of interest (DOI) and joint interest billing (JIB) decks reflecting record title ownership of producing properties through detailed analysis of title. opinions leases assignments deeds probates farmout agreements operating agreements and other legal documents.
Initiates ownership transactions of intermediate complexity within SAP subject to seniorlevel analyst approval.
Researches and promptly responds to phone calls emails and written inquiries from stakeholders.
Determines ownership and calculates interest according to laws of descent and distribution/intestate succession.
Assists seniorlevel division order analysts as needed.
Collaborates with internal teams including Land Revenue Accounting JIB Accounting Legal Marketing and Reserves as well as external partners such as contract landmen brokers title attorneys working interest partners and interest owners to achieve company goals.
Other duties as assigned.
Possesses general computer knowledge with intermediate proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet applications.

Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of three 3 years of related experience.
Intermediatelevel knowledge of land concepts and division order responsibilities.
An acceptable preemployment background and drug test.
Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college or university with a major in Business Energy Management or Law.
Three 3 years of experience with an active oil and gas exploration company.
Requires prolonged sitting some bending and occasional stooping.
Incidental lifting up to 25 pounds.
Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
