Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst with a strong engineering background and expertise in data science to join our dynamic team. This role requires a combination of technical skills analytical thinking and problemsolving capabilities. You will be responsible for analyzing scrubbing and prioritizing data to drive business decisions and develop actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Insights:
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends patterns and insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Develop predictive and prescriptive models to address business problems.
- Data Engineering & Scrubbing:
- Cleanse transform and validate data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Design and implement efficient data workflows and pipelines.
- Data Prioritization:
- Assess and prioritize data based on business objectives and impact.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and key performance metrics.
- Technical Implementation:
- Write clean maintainable and efficient Python code for data processing and analysis.
- Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques to extract insights.
- Collaboration:
- Partner with crossfunctional teams including product engineering and business units to align data strategies with organizational goals.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications & Skills
Educational Background:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Data Science or a related field. A Master s degree is a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and scripting.
- Strong experience with data cleaning scrubbing and transformation processes.
- Solid understanding of SQL and database management.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI).
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g. scikitlearn TensorFlow PyTorch) is a plus.
Core Competencies:
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Experience:
- 4 years of experience in a data analyst role with demonstrated expertise in data science and engineering principles.
- Experience working with crossfunctional teams in a fastpaced environment
