Job Description

Address: 13101 Allen Rd Southgate MI 48195 United States
Contract: 13 weeks
Pay Rate: Hourly $28.90 $38.89
Monday through Thursday: 8:30 am to 7 pm Friday: 8:30 am to 5 pm and Saturday: 9 am to 1 pm. Flexible scheduling is available. Some evening and/or weekend hours may be required based on program needs.
**$3000 SIGNON BONUS and an incentive opportunity each pay period!**
As a Crisis Therapist in the Adult Behavioral Health Program you will be responsible for the following:
- Provide screening assessment and crisis intervention services via telehealth to adult members of the community who are referred by local police.
- Determine the appropriate level of care and services needed and the least restrictive setting in which those services can be provided.
- Provide transitional support advocacy and care coordination services inperson and/or via telehealth until these adults initiate or resume ongoing mental health and/or substance use treatment services with The Guidance Center or another mental health provider.
- Required to be available via preprogrammed tablets for calls that are referred for screening and intervention by local police departments that have established business agreements with The Guidance Center.
- Crisis screening services will be available 24 hours each day including holidays and weekends.
- Must be available to respond immediately to crisis calls during scheduled oncall hours. They will share oncall responsibilities during business hours with other ABH team members and will assist with afterhours oncall coverage on a voluntary basis as their individual schedules allow.
- Responsible to provide crisis intervention and ongoing mental health treatment services to ABH clients who are receiving intensive case management services including those who are on active Assisted Outpatient Treatment orders and those deemed Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity. Services are delivered inperson in the office or community and/or via telehealth.
Travel: Mileage Reimbursement when personal vehicle is used IRS standard. .64 per mile
Any training paid for by TGC.
