Are you a seasoned Fund Accountant who is either based in the UK mainland or open to relocating from the Channel Islands
Firstcall is working with a leading fund administrator with a diverse clientele across the globe who is seeking a dedicated Senior Fund Accountant for their Southampton office. You will be joining a firm that values integrity collaboration and innovation offering an inclusive environment that supports professional growth and nurtures fresh perspectives.
Working within a structured and teamoriented environment you will be involved in financial and investor reporting along with managing various backoffice tasks.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing treasury functions such as bank account reconciliations and cash reporting.
- Preparing journal entries and managing workpapers within the quarterly cycle.
- Assisting in GAAP financial statement preparation and processing capital activity (capital calls & distributions).
- Managing adhoc investor inquiries and maintaining effective client communications.
You will be someone who holds a Bachelors degree in accounting or a related field with 23 years of relevant experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Advanced qualifications such as a CPA or Masters degree and private equity funds experience would be advantageous.
