About the role
As a Technical Lead you will collaborate with the Engineering Practice to enhance engineering capabilities across people tools culture and ways of working. You will be responsible for ensuring code quality delivering highquality solutions and driving excellence in software and platform engineering. This role includes system analysis design development maintenance and ongoing support while also providing mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
What youll do
- Lead the technical team through design development and implementation of guidelines for Continuous Delivery automation and security
- Coach and mentor engineers to improve their capabilities and ensure best practices are followed (coding standards code reviews automated testing)
- Be the first point of contact for questions from engineers and act as the conduit between the team and Domain technical leaders
- Improve and embed best practice engineering with a view across people process and technology
- Identify opportunities to improve development processes and standards.
What youll bring
- 7 years professional software engineering experience with at least 3 years of technical leadership responsibilities including coaching and mentoring engineers
- Expertise in Java 17 Spring (Boot/Security/Hibernate) for building APIs and microservices
- Strong experience in & Typescript frameworks particularly ReactJS
- Experience in cloud technologies (AWS Azure or GCP) and DevOps
- Proven experience in testing frameworks such as Junit Mockito Jest
