What will you be doing
As innovators in Big Data Circana seeks passionate client advocates with strong analytic skills to advance solutions that best build the clients strategic vision. The Foodservice Team at Circana works with some of the most innovative companies in the industry. This role reports to the Executive Director in Client Development and will contribute to our clients engagement satisfaction and growth by providing valueadded insights for decision making. The position provides the opportunity to make an impact leveraging factbased insights and analysis while developing the knowledge and skills required for continued success in market research solutions.
Job Responsibilities
Advanced Analytic Skills: Demonstrate ability to analyze and interpret data and translate it into meaningful solutions for clients:
- Approach client with coherent actionable and factbased data/recommendations appropriate to their business needs
- Ability to analyze information to create clear and concise insights that provide value and continually provide analytical solutions and business insights to address any business gaps and/or opportunities and create value for the client.
- Identify business issues and opportunities and suggest the appropriate analytic solution/approach level.
- Understand and communicate complex data in an easily digestible format.
- Conduct engaging and impactful analyses that deliver value concisely tell a story to a diverse audience and present to a broad range of decision influencers and decisionmakers within an organization.
Consultative Selling: Apply knowledge of the business industry and domain to identify create and close business opportunities:
- Ask questions to evaluate assumptions and challenge the status quo.
- Synthesize information on various issues; translate the information into a project framework that ultimately provides solutions for clients.
Impactful Presence: Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills; present a professional image.
- Build strategic relationships with client contacts to develop business insights regarding the clients most critical issues/needs both short and longterm
- Become trusted by clients Circana client solutions teams Circana crossfunctional organizations and Circana business partners. Be considered a domain expert and business partner.
- Operate in a collaborative team environment and partner with crossfunctional departments and teams within Circana to ensure the businesss success.

Client Focus: Consistently act with client satisfaction in mind and follow through on commitments to meet the clients needs.
- Ensure overall client satisfaction by proactively relating Circana data and industry trends to business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and requirements and consult with clients to influence thinking.
- Help clients identify solutions to problems they did not know they had.
- Regularly and proactively communicate with the clientfacing teams including continually soliciting feedback to improve the relationship.
- Track and organize multiple work streams against numerous clients and manage time and resources against changing priorities.
- Expand the client base to include a broader mix of end users through education and training and grow the acceptance of insights to make factbased decisions.
Client Management:
- Serve as the primary contact for the functional groups at the client.
- Provide onsite response to data requests and technical issues and provide support for analyses.
- Ensure high client satisfaction is maintained through delivering value and insights.
- Create tools and reports that efficiently use data in customized deliverables using Circanas proprietary software and other appropriate methods.
- Accurately interpret data and incorporate industry knowledge to deliver actionable insights in a clientfriendly format as appropriate for the audience
- Manage and track projects from initial request through completion.
- Consistently demonstrate the ability to answer questions and provide insights about strategic and tactical client issues.
Requirements
- 5 progressive years of experience in marketing and sales with a premier Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or marketing analytics company
- Ability to interact proactively with all client levels set and manage expectations and articulate information effectively.
- Demonstrated expertise in translating pointofsale (POS) data and analysis into relevant implications within the CPG industry.
- Knowledge of the Foodservice Consumer Packaged Goods and/or Retail industry. Working knowledge of category management is preferred.
- Capacity to communicate effectively across varying levels and build collaborative relationships.
- Strong organizational and project management skills diligence and solutionsoriented
- Willingness to work onsite at the client location three days per week.
- Solid proficiency in MS Office especially Excel and PowerPoint

This position can be located in the following area(s): hybrid based in Houston with 23 days onsite at the client.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employees position within the salary range will be based on several factors including but not limited to relevant education qualifications certifications experience skills seniority geographic location performance shift travel requirements sales or revenuebased metrics any collective bargaining agreements and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $88000 $114000.
This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
