Senior Claims Analyst (P&C)
For our client a wellestablished Reinsurer group we are currently looking for a Senior Claims Analyst (P&C) for its Zurich Office.

Your responsibilities
- Proactively review standard losses and assemble the company exposures via available system data
- Handling claims across all lines of business including catastrophe per risk standard lines as assigned
- Ensure all property casualty and specialty claims within granted authority are analyzed for coverage exposure and proper reserving with ability to communicate/present all pertinent claim and program details to internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure timely processing of all assigned claims and proper response to enquiries relating to claims processes
- Perform daytoday claims processing activities including:
- Triage and indexing of all claims correspondence in Image Right (the repository and workflow solution used)
- Analyze losses within authority level granted and evaluating company exposure across multiple lines of business and identify coverage issues and disputable claims
- Review claim payments and reserves process all relevant data in SICS
- Process claims and recoveries into SICS including reinstatement premium and reinstatement premium accruals as well as LOC requests in a timely and accurate manner
- Set ACR for assigned losses in coordination with relevant UWs and line manager
- Assist with reconciliation of statements of accounts and other forms/bordereaux disclosing nonproportional losses
- Assist with inactive claims reviews liaise with the brokers for updated information and ensure that any changes are reflected in the claims system appropriately
Your profile & required qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of relevant continental European (re)insurance claims handling experience
- Prior knowledge/experience in reinsurance accounting
- Prior experience processing claims with SICS reinsurance accounting systems advantageous
- University degree with a background in business or law preferred
- Basic understanding of (re)insurance industry and associated transactions
- Attention to detail and accuracy and strong organizational skills with the ability to handle a variety of duties in a timely and accurate manner
- Demonstrated problemsolving skills and ability to apply knowledge to different scenarios
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English fluent in French and/or in German is of advantage.
- A professional insurance qualification is advantageous
