Location: Providence RI
Reports To:HFA Supervisor

Are you passionate about empowering families and helping young children thrive If so Childrens Friend is looking for a compassionate and motivated Family Support Specialist to join our Healthy Families America team! Youll partner with families to strengthen parentchild relationships support child development and connect them to vital community resources.
What Youll Do:
Provide culturally competent homebased services including parenting education health and nutrition guidance and crisis intervention
Assist parents in improving the home environment and strengthening family bonds
Help families set and achieve personal goals through case management
Refer clients to essential community services and support their engagement
Promote positive nurturing parentchild interactions
Maintain accurate records and meet program productivity standards
What You Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework a plus)
Experience working with children and families
Cultural humility and the ability to connect with diverse populations
Strong time management and communication skills
Familiarity with child development and willingness to grow in the field
Reliable transportation valid drivers license and insurance
Bonus Points For:
Bilingual Skills Preferred
Infant mental health endorsement
Experience with case management or community outreach
Comfort using databases and digital tools
