We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Water/Wastewater Summer Intern to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate pursuing a degree in civil or environmental engineering or a related field. As a Summer Intern you will work closely with our team of professionals and gain handson experience in the design and construction of water and wastewater treatment plants.
Student may receive college credit for internship experience. Subject to eligibility requirements.
- Assist with the design of water and wastewater treatment systems including hydraulic calculations process design and equipment selection.
- Conduct site visits and assist with construction supervision to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Assist with the preparation of technical reports and project documentation.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop innovative solutions and improve project delivery.
- Participate in meetings with clients contractors and other stakeholders.
Key skills and Qualifications
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Must have a valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to work hybrid schedule 23 days in the office).
Education and Experience
- Currently pursuing a degree in civil or environmental engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with water and wastewater treatment processes is a plus.
