DescriptionWork Schedule:
90 FTE. Mix of AM/PM Shifts. 7 days on 7 days off schedule. 4 week rotation of schedule; 6:30AM 4:30PM and 2:00PM 12:00AM. You will work at East Madison Hospital in Madison WI. Option to increased to 1.0 FTE if desired. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to:
- Provide patient care services to East Madison Hospital Emergency Department patients as outlined by the UW Health Statement on the Standards of Practice for Emergency Medicine Pharmacists.
- Support the decentral pharmacist by assisting with order verification and admission and discharge workflows for inpatient units at East Madison Hospital.

The ideal candidate will have emergency medicine experience. Preference given to candidates who have completed a PGY2 in emergency medicine or have equivalent work experience in an emergency medicine setting.

Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy or a PharmD degree Required
- Completion of an ASHP Accredited Residency training program Preferred
Work Experience
- 1 year of clinical patient care and orders management experience Required
- 3 years of institutional experience (hospital or integrated health system) or completion of an ASHP accredited residency training program Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of Wisconsin within 90 Days Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 Days Required
- Advanced Cardio Life Support (ACLS) within 180 Days Required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 180 Days Required
- Certification through the appropriate certifying program (Board of Pharmacy Specialties National Board of Nutrition Support Certification National Certification Board for Anticoagulation Providers Specialty Pharmacy Certification Board etc. Preferred
