Leasing Consultant
Residential Real Estate
FullTime Permanent

Our client a widely known and reputable real estate company who develops owns and 3rd party manages both residential and commercial properties across Canada and the US are looking for a Leasing Consultant to join their team in Vancouver in a fulltime capacity. You will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences for prospective residents. Youll be managing leasing functions for 2 rental properties of 200 units one of which is in leaseup stage. This company offers growth into leadership roles as the portfolio is expected to expand to approximately 5 properties in the next 612 months.
Leasing Consultant Duties & Responsibilities:
This is a base salary commissions role with an expected OTE up to $120000 (base of $50000$60000 dependent on experience) expected commissions ranging from $40000$60000 annual performancebased bonus. You will be eligible to participate in the company benefit plan including RRSP matching starting day 1. This role is allocated with 3 weeks vacation and offers tuition reimbursement plans and professional development courses.

Leasing Consultant Duties & Responsibilities:
- Guide prospective residents through the leasing process while providing bestinclass service.
- Respond to rental inquiries via phone email and walkins.
- Enter and track leads in CRM tools maintaining accurate records.
- Conduct competitive market surveys and recommend strategies.
- Conduct property tours and showcase available suites and amenities.
- Assist with online applications and overcome potential objections.
- Perform credit and income verifications and collect rent deposits.
- Ensure vacant suites are always show ready.
- Collaborate with marketing and revenue teams to maximize exposure and leasing success.
- Maintain strong knowledge of properties and the local rental market.
- Encourage resident renewals and provide feedback on leasing strategies.
- Comply with all relevant legislation (Health and Safety WHMIS AODA PIPEDA etc..
- Support community events and represent the brand professionally.
- Meet/exceed monthly rental goals
- Provide feedback on leasing incentives and rental rates
- Rental Property management License with BCFSA is required
- High School Diploma is Required. PostSecondary education in business and/or communications is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of sales and marketing experience preferably within residential leasing functions
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- Proficiency with SalesForce and Yardi is considered a strong asset
- Valid Drivers license and reliable vehicle is preferred
- Outgoing personality with a passion for the real estate industry and providing excellent customer service
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Punctual reliable and organized with great attention to detail
- Thrives in a fastpaced environment with strong multitasking abilities
