The Boeing Company is currently seeking a MidLevel Systems Developer to join the team in Berkeley MO.

This position supports the P8A program part of Boeings integrated defense portfolio to meet customers rapidly evolving needs across the spectrum of global conflict. The P8As performance and reliability delivers confidence in an uncertain world. As a System Developer and member of the team you will help build optimize and secure the technology that delivers strategic and tactical mobility solutions to support the warfighter mission.

The ideal candidate will have experience installing configuring maintaining and troubleshooting a secure network with additional experience in patch management application support and information assurance. They will collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure a seamless integration of hardware software and networking components.

Position Responsibilities:

• Install configure and maintain multiplatform systems hardware software and components utilizing preexisting or selfcreated automated processes

• Perform the troubleshooting and restoration of routine to complex computing service operations (backups/restores networking and domainrelated functions)

• Build and maintain information systems that comply with Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide/Risk Management Framework (JSIG / RMF) security requirements

• Integrate and configure security solutions (McAfee Splunk HBSS) into information systems

• Develop custom Windows and Linux images for deployment

• Integrate security solutions into information systems

• Participate in the planning and of upgrades and patches for operating systems and software

• Develop training guides knowledge management articles and documentation of processes and procedures.

• Deploy and manage virtual machines on any virtualization platform

• Provide comprehensive software and integration support in closed environments

• Automation of tasks utilizing PowerShell bash or other platforms

• Evaluate and effectively communicate complex system problems and resolutions to team and key stakeholders

• Travel 15 30 domestically and internationally contingent upon program needs

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Active Security certification or the ability to obtain the certification within 6 months of your start date

• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally on short notice

• 3 years of experience with Windows Operating Systems Win10/Server 2016 and Newer

• 3 years of experience with PowerShell or BASH scripts to automate deployment and configuration of operating systems or applications or similar concepts/technologies

• 3 years of experience with Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS): Configuring/Maintaining AD DS including Active Directory DHCP DNS Group Policy

• 3 years of experience with VMware or other virtualization technologies

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 1 years of experience with Linux Operating Systems RHEL 7 and newer

• Experience with management of Cisco networking environment

• Experience with NetApp or other SAN technologies

• Experience with creating and maintaining custom Windows or Linux images (isos/VM templates)

• Experience with McAfee ePO configuration and management

• Experience with management and configuration of Splunk Indexers/Forwarders

• Experience with backup and restore technologies NetBackup BackupExec or similar
