Job Description
For an international organization in Europe we are urgently looking for a FULL REMOTE (Senior) Java Developer with Liferay knowledge and experience. This is a 100 remote position. Candidates need to be fluent in English.
Candidates need to be able to work the European schedule.
During the corona crisis interviews will be done through WEBEX and travel is not required for the interviews. All positions are longterm.
- Create a utility to import content from the OpenCms to Liferay DXP: Static and structure content; Metadata taxonomy and tags; Multilingual content;
- Create multilingual websites; Integrate LDAP create users groups roles and permissions;
- Create themes layouts page templates and fragments (design elements) based on Web Style Guide (Responsive Web Design);
- Create workflows;
- Create user dashboards;
- Develop Liferay custom modules (portlets hooks) based on application requirements;
- Integrate Google search;
- Provide daily updates and alias with other team members;
- Other related tasks as required;
- Bachelor or Master degree or comparable through experience;
- 5/10 years of Java Development experience;
- Experience with RESTful APIs Angular JSON XML;
- Expert in the Liferay Web Content Management System (CMS) with: Experience working on CMS migrations; Extensive knowledge in Liferay themes and fragments development; Extensive knowledge of Liferay outofbox features and widgets; Extensive knowledge of Liferay custom modules development and search integration;
- Fluent in English;
