What Youll Do
We are looking for an Art Producer to join us on the Fortnite Art team. In this position you will be responsible for handling and organizing art tasks to help the artists do what they do best every day. Our team of producers focuses on guiding concepts from their nebulous creation through production and into implementation. This role will work across the art pipeline partnering with many different teams. We are looking for individuals who excel in organization have exceptional communication skills and are comfortable managing schedules of complex projects. The ideal candidates are passionate about working in games have a strong understanding of dependencydriven production methodologies have a firm understanding of a 3D art creation pipeline and thrive in a fastpaced environment.
In this role you will
- Manage the Timeline Partner with art discipline Leads and Art Directors to execute tasks against dependencydriven asset schedules to ensure the successful ontime release of content that meets the Epic Art quality bar. Maintain Shotgrid scheduling triage and tracking
- Be the center of Communication Facilitate constant communication with the art production team as well as crossdepartment production teams; providing transparency on asset status risks and opportunities. Ensure stakeholders have proper visibility into development and are informed of any changes that may impact their teams
- Proactively seek resolutions Identify problems and propose solutions for your team before they become roadblocks. Own the outcome of your area and never wait to see if someone else will clear your path
- Be a flexible multitasker Handle multiple large production needs within your development pod(s). Understand how to identify and break down prioritizations and keep up strong communication across multiple outlets: email Slack meetings and documentation
- Support all of your teams production needs including but not limited to; planning scheduling; task tracking and bug triage
What were looking for
- 4 years of experience working in a production role managing crossfunctional teams in the creation and delivery of complex projects
- Deep understanding of game development and project management practices
- Experience in an environment where you had to exhibit amazing problemsolving skills daily viewing each new problem as an opportunity for success
- Selfstarter who approaches challenges creatively and methodically seeing them through to final resolution
- The ability to communicate with varying levels of stakeholders within your team and throughout the company
- Ability to drive high velocity high impact development cycles while balancing out shortterm needs and longterm vision
- Ability to adapt and be effective in ambiguous situations within a highly dynamic environment
- Youre passionate solutionsfocused and innovative. These traits equal success at Epic and influence everything we do
