POSITION SUMMARY:
TheCritical CarePharmacy Specialist providesexpert patientspecific pharmacotherapy and pharmaceutical care acts as a resource to other health care professionals regarding clinical use of medications and maintains cost effective use of medications. The Critical Care Pharmacy Specialist participates as a clinical reference to committees as needed such as the Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee Medication safety Code Blue etc. or may be a participant if needed. The Critical Care Pharmacy Specialist may work weekends holidays days evenings and/or night shifts as assigned according to the position(s) primarily worked qualifications to work in said position(s) and according to departmental needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Graduate of accredited school of pharmacy and current pharmacist license by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy. Advanced training (residency fellowship and/or board certification).
