Job title: Senior Commercial Account Handler
Salary:
Location: Leeds (hybrid)
PURPOSE OF ROLE
Lawes Consulting Group are seeking a Senior Commercial Account Handler to join a leading Leeds based insurance broker. As a senior member of the broking team you will play an important role in managing and maintaining key accounts building strong client relationships and providing a consistently high level of technical support and advice. You will also act as a point of technical reference for less experienced colleagues. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working in conjunction with the incumbent Account Executives to ensure an excellent level of client service.
- Negotiate renewal terms midterm adjustments and coverage extensions with both clients and insurers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and clientspecific internal policies.
EXPERIENCE
- Ideally have 5 years or more commercial broking experience
- Possess a broad technical knowledge of commercial insurance products.
- Cert CII qualified or above would be beneficial
- Familiarity with FCA Principles and Procedures
DAYTODAY
- You will engage in daily client interactions negotiating renewal terms and managing communications with insurers.
- Responsible for preparing marketing presentations renewal reports and responding to client queries and requests for alterations
SKILLS
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A clientfocused consultative approach
- Strong understanding of FCA Principles and Procedures
