Citizens Health is recruiting a Chief Nursing Officer.

Location: 100 E College Ave Colby Kansas
Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience plus benefits.
What youll do:
- Oversee daytoday operations of the obstetrics med/surg surgery and emergency room departments.
- Develop and implement policies procedures and workflows to enhance efficiency and patient care.
- Manage staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage and compliance with staffing ratios.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize resources.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of patient care ensuring compliance with evidencebased practices and regulatory requirements.
- Address and resolve clinical and operational issues promptly.
- Ensure proper use of medical equipment and supplies across departments.
- Facilitate continuing education and training opportunities for staff.
- Assist in budget planning and resource allocation for assigned departments.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local regulations including standards set by Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Conditions of Participation (CoPs).
- Prepare for and participate in inspections audits and accreditation processes.
What you bring to the table:
Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required Masters degree in Nursing Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
Licensure: Current RN license in state of practice.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience. At least 2 years in a leadership or management role. Experience in obstetrics med/surg surgery or emergency nursing is highly preferred.
Certifications: BLS ACLS PALS and NRP certifications required.
