Job Description
Were looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our amazing Data department and to help us to take our data platform and data usage to the next level. Our technology stack is based on Googles Cloud Platform and its different components.
What youll be spending your time on:
- Develop endtoend data models: from gathering data sources to creating ETL processes that enable smarter datadriven decisions.
- Build automated validation processes to ensure data integrity system stability and data observability.
- Optimize process runtimes and provide scalable solutions to complex problems.
- Take full ownership of designing building deploying and maintaining data products.
Have you done this kind of stuff
- 5 years of experience with SQL and ETL development in a cloud environment preferably Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery Airflow DBT).
- Strong Python skills for data processing automation and scripting.
- Experience with legacy ETL tools such as SSIS or Informatica is a plus.
- Independent adaptable and able to multitask under tight deadlines and capable of learning new technologies and working in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling.
Not a must but a great advantage: - Strong knowledge of data modeling.
- Experience in building automated validation processes to ensure data integrity.
- Familiarity with NoSQL platforms (e.g. Hadoop) or graph databases (e.g. Neo4J TigerGraph).
