Job Description


We are looking for an experienced Stores Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of the store operations in our Perambalur location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory control supply chain coordination vendor management and team supervision within the FMCG Retail or Food industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daytoday operations of the store department

  • Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records

  • Monitor inbound and outbound materials ensuring proper documentation

  • Coordinate with procurement production and sales teams for smooth operations

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and standards in storage and dispatch

  • Manage and train store staff to maintain efficiency and accuracy

  • Conduct regular audits and reports for stock wastage and discrepancies

  • Ensure cleanliness safety and security standards are met in the store area

  • Liaise with vendors and transporters to ensure timely delivery and dispatch



Requirements


  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Stores Management in FMCG Retail or Food Industry

  • Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and stock management techniques

  • Proven leadership and team management skills

  • Proficiency in using MS Excel and inventory management software

  • Good communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
