Job Description
Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
o Develop and execute R&D strategy aligned with business objectives and market
trends.
o Identify emerging technologies and their potential application in AMRs to maintain
a competitive edge.
o Collaborate with stakeholders to define product roadmaps and development
priorities.
Research & Innovation
o Lead the development of innovative technologies including navigation AI
computer vision and sensor integration.
o Ensure compliance with global industry standards and certifications.
o Foster a culture of creativity experimentation and rapid prototyping within the R&D
team.
Team Leadership
o Build and mentor a highperforming R&D team fostering collaboration across
mechanical electrical and software engineering disciplines.
o Define KPIs and performance metrics to measure team and project success.
o Drive professional development initiatives to ensure the team remains at the
forefront of technology trends
Project Management
o Oversee multiple R&D projects ensuring they are delivered on time within budget
and with high quality.
o Establish clear communication channels between R&D production and commercial
teams.
o Mitigate risks in project through proactive planning and contingency
strategies.
Industry Collaboration
o Establish partnerships with academic institutions research organizations and
industry leaders.
o Represent the company at conferences workshops and industry events to promote
thought leadership.
Skills and Qualifications:
Ph.D. In robotics from the US or Europe is preferred.
10 years of experience in robotics or related industries with at least 5 years in a leadership
role.
Proven track record in developing and deploying commercial robotic products.
Expertise in areas such as autonomous navigation AI/ML sensors and mechatronics.
Strong understanding of AMR design principles and market trends.
Exceptional leadership organizational and decisionmaking abilities.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
Experience with Agile or similar project management methodologies.
