The Senior Administrative Coordinator II coordinates and provides administrative and logistical support for the Office of Academic Affairs leadership.

Schedule/Location: This is a parttime position located in Round Rock Texas. This position may require flexibility to work beyond normal office hours and travel to other campuses/sites.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
7 years of related experience in office administration
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in higher education and/or medical education
Experience with TAMU software systems (i.e. Concur Canopy AggieBuy FAMIS Workday...
Experience coordinating in person and virtual meetings and events
Experience coordinating travel and travel expense reports
Experience purchasing and submitting expense reports
Calendar management experience
Property management/inventory experience
Agenda preparation and meeting documentation experience
A Class C vehicle operators license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment

Responsibilities
Support to Leadership: Provides direct administrative and logistical support to Office of Academic Affairs leadership. Uses initiative to relieve leadership of routine tasks. Manages correspondence leadership members calendars schedules meetings coordinates events and provides routine administrative travel arrangements prepares itineraries and prepares and submits travel expense items ensures approval is received follows purchasing guidelines and policies and prepares and submits purchasing expense as support staff for College of Medicine administrative meetings councils committees and task forces. This may include coordination meetings preparing agendas and taking meeting presentation communication and training with department inventory.
Administrative Coordination: Coordinates administrative support functions. Plans and executes administrative operations activities and and approves schedules and standards for achieving goals. Plans and executes administrative operations and resolves operating in the development of administrative processes and internal processes and recommends procedural compliance with policies and procedures. Plans and conducts meetings and training with the Office of Business Affairs to plan administer and coordinate various administrative services (ex: purchasing contracts travel etc).May assign work to student workers. Plans work and determines work priorities. Event Coordination: Plans coordinates oversees and conducts meetings workshops training and other special events including but not limited to department retreats and the Council for Course Directors (CCD) academic affairs events initiatives and specials records enrollment for academic affairs retreats and as an information resource for faculty and staff for retreats and with tracking conference expenses.
Special Projects/Assignments: Provides administrative support to academic affairs operations. Manages correspondence and schedules meetings for the departmental assist with faculty hiring process and faculty performance evaluations/ meeting and background material for institutional and campus meetings academic programs and accreditation activities. Maintains and coordinates activities required to comply with institutional program and accreditation requirements.
