Veterinary Surgeon (FTC) Hillside Veterinary Centre Wimborne Dorset
We have an opportunity for a FTC Veterinary Surgeon to join our fantastic team at our 100 small animal practice in coastal Dorset.
About Us:
At Hillside we deliver first class patient care whilst offering a caring supportive environment in which to work benefiting both the team our clients and their pets.
We are a small highly committed team consisting of1 Practice Director (NonClinical) 4 Vets 3.5 FTE) 5 RVNs 4.5FTE) 1 SVN 1 ANAs 0.5 FTE) plus 5 Receptionists 2.2 FTE) and 2 Admin Support colleagues 1 FTE).
We have excellent modern facilities with separate waiting areas and kennels for dogs and cats/small animals to ensure as little stress and discomfort as possible to the pets in our care. We offer an onsite laboratory digital Xray dental Xray ultrasound endoscopy and a stateoftheart operating theatre so youll have everything you need to work to your very best.
The Role:
- Salary 55000 per annum
- Fixed term contract to cover maternity leave starting Nov 24
- Fulltime hours ideally to be carried out over 4 days. Hours to be covered include: 8.30 6.30pm Monday to Thursday 1:3 late Wednesdays 11am 8pm and 1:4 Saturdays 8.30 5pm
- No OOH (we use Vets Now for this)
- Time given to work up cases

We are situated in Corfe Mullen a peaceful and scenic village near Wimborne and Broadstone thats only 6 miles away from Poole Harbour in Dorset a beautiful part of the country.
Poole has good rail links regular bus & coach services its own port and Bournemouth airport is only 30 minutes away.
