Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeings Space Intelligence and Weapons System Production Engineering team is seeking a highly motivated creative and results driven Structural Analysis Engineer to support the NASA Space Launch System program at Michoud Assembly Facility located in New Orleans LA.
Position Responsibilities:
Performs basic structural analysis using well defined analysis tools to develop the structural environment characteristics and performance.
Supports test and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied. Supports inservice products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements.
Works under general supervision.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science
Related experience in engineering
Ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility
