Technical Product Owner Pricing. Salary Circa 85000.

A bit about thejob:

As a Technical Product Owner for Pricing you are responsible for:

  • Full accountability for facilitating the delivery of rapid trading and pricing changes orchestrating effort across both a Software Engineering team and a supporting Data Engineering team
  • Delivering new product features andtechnicalenhancements in accordance with the Aviva Zero product roadmap and key trading priorities.
  • Leading a stakeholder engagement and prioritisation strategy enabling cross feature team delivery and providing clear direction into the Software Engineering team working alongside the Lead and/or Senior Engineers to define agile sprint plans and target delivery dates for key feature builds.
  • Providing oversight of a team with responsibility to develop construct test and maintain userfriendly architectures and to design innovative new solutions to enable rapid market agility whilst driving effective Engineering disciplines and practices.
  • Support the delivery of good customer outcomes through all activities and deliverables enabling us to act in good faith towards customers avoid causing foreseeable harm and enable and support our customers to pursue their financial objectives.
  • Oversee business analysis and requirements definition activities driving high performance and ensuring activities are carried out efficiently and to a high standard whilst supporting performance management and coaching.

Skills and experience were looking for:

  • Solid experience as a product manager ideally within the context of insurance based on eventdriven and/or microservice architectures
  • Experience in handling complex highpressure build demand and product roadmaps
  • Strong experience in applying agile practices with excellent crossfunctional stakeholder management capabilities; able to balance desired pace of change with technical risk considerations
  • Technologically adept and demonstrates outstanding ability to translate and broker businesslevel product requirements with technical solution architectures and design patterns
  • Confident communicator in leading crossfunctional change initiatives; managing overall product strategy alongside regulatory information security and legal compliance requirements
