Job Description

Viterra is seeking a motivated and analytical thinker to join our team as an Accounting Clerk at our Regina Office. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the accurate processing of invoices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor intransit rail and truck shipments and followup with providers to ensure the receipt of timely unload information for invoicing purposes.
- Receive identify and research invoicing issues and discrepancies and provide information for the effective resolution.
- Ensure the timely receipt and processing of unload information to assist in the generation of accurate invoices.
- Notify internal and external customers of discrepancies with shipping and unload information and invoices.
- Notify and work with terminal elevators to resolve unload discrepancies.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail.
- Knowledge within financial data input systems and other operation systems.
- Skilled within MS Office and experience navigating different computer software programs
Education and Qualifications:
- Minimum of two 2 years experience in financial system data input.
- Grade 12 or equivalent and successful completion of a recognized basic accounting course.
- Basic understanding of the Canadian Grain Industry would be considered an asset.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience that result in the required level of knowledge skill and competence will be considered.
