Summary
The Bell Consumer team is seeking a Specialist Subscriber Planning & Revenue Management to support forecasting and reporting for our Video services. Reporting to the Senior Manager Subscriber Forecasting this role will focus on analyzing subscriber trends developing forecasting models and providing key insights to drive business decisions. Additionally this role will include revenue forecasting incorporating Average Revenue Per Unit (ARPU) to develop a full rate and volume forecast. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical thinker with a passion for data forecasting and market analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of shortterm and longterm subscriber and revenue forecasts for Video services.
- Maintain and refine forecasting models to improve accuracy and reflect evolving business strategies.
- Analyze subscriber performance trends including activations churn and engagement metrics.
- Conduct revenue analysis focusing on ARPU trends and their impact on overall financial performance.
- Develop and analyze rate and volume forecasts to provide insights into revenue trends.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support the preparation of forecasting reports and presentations for senior leadership.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams in marketing finance and strategy to align on key business drivers.
- Conduct competitive analysis and industry benchmarking to support business planning.
- Utilize business intelligence tools and large datasets to generate actionable insights.
Critical Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business finance economics marketing computer science or a related field.
- 13 years of experience in financial analysis forecasting business intelligence or market analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with experience handling large datasets and building forecasting models.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to transform data into meaningful insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly.
- Detailoriented with strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the telecommunications or streaming media industry is an asset.
- Some knowledge of SQL SAS or business intelligence tools (MicroStrategy Tableau Power BI PowerPivot).
