Strategy Planning & Operations Sr Manager

What you will do

The Strategic Planning and Operations Senior Manager reports directly to the Senior Director Call Center. The candidate will frequently interact with numerous Directors/Executive Directors within Patient Access & Reimbursement as well as critical crossfunctional partners in operations capabilities marketing legal and compliance. Accordingly the candidate must be able to communicate well with others lead and manage projects effectively and motivate and coordinate our team to achieve outcomes in a complicated is a challenging and rewarding role. This position will require you to demonstrate key leadership traits to not only elevate our strategic initiatives but also support the development coordination and implementation of patient support programs at Amgen SupportPlus and Tezspire Together. This includes call center strategy development and implementation workforce management oversight quarterly business review planning and and overall responsibility for executive communication on call center performance.

What You Will Accomplish:

  • Partner with call center leadership to develop strategies/priorities and implement successful initiatives/pilots that drive acceleration of service utilization.

  • Lead the sharing of insights (working with V&A Insights team as appropriate) across Patient Access & Reimbursement to ensure effective portfolio management as well as inform potential changes to call center strategy.

  • Lead and support crossfunctional organizational SLT meetings and facilitate crossfunctional alignment and problemsolving on key business issues and opportunities.

    • Serve as key aid to Sr. Director in communication planning/effectiveness to overall team

  • Oversee our existing workforce management team responsible for maximizing call center productivity and performance mentoring and fostering career development to ensure ongoing talent development

  • Support QBRs and monthly call center LT meetings via the development of agendas capturing minutes and action items.

  • Planning and of call center narrative performance and key KPIs

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Masters degree and 6 years of relevant professional experience

Or

Bachelors degree and 8 years of relevant professional experience

Or

Associates degree and 10 years of relevant professional experience

  • Strong planning analytical leadership administration and project management skills

  • Thorough understanding of call center operations and patient support programs

  • Ability to successfully handle multiple projects at once

  • Experience critically evaluating process and establishing creative solutions

  • Excellent communication skills including interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and success in a highly matrixed environment; strong oral/written presentation skills

  • Strong project management skills lead and manage projects from concept to completion in a matrix and at times ambiguous environment

  • Demonstrated selfstarter ability to work under limited supervision and coordinate multiple projects in a detailoriented environment

  • Experience working with key internal or external partners establishing communicating and managing teams to timelines and project targets

  • Advanced skills and familiarity with Excel PowerPoint OneNote

  • Utilization of project management tools methodologies and practices

  • Quick learner proactive takes initiative goal oriented and results driven

  • Strong negotiation skills active listening and relationship management skills

  • Ability to influence others while fostering a valuebased environment of high performance and fairness

  • Demonstrates creativity and foresight in anticipating and solving complex project issues

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to relevant skills experience and qualifications.
