Manufacturing Financial Process EngineerPosition Overview
Shaw Industries is looking for a Manufacturing Financial Process Engineer to provide assistance to the departmental manager team managers associates and internal customers at Plants 12/13 in Cartersville GA. The Process Engineer will be responsible for driving process and cost improvements assisting with the plants annual budgets and analyzing plant performance through reports feedback and observations.
Based on experience this position can be filled as Process Engineer or Sr Process Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Drive results with the assigned plants processes through continuous improvement of efficiency waste and cost
- Create and utilize departmental report to identify opportunities and implement action plans for improvement
- Manage the plants waste streams and recycling initiatives
- Assist with developing the annual plant budgets
- Analyze cost variances and create and implement plans for cost improvements
- Influence others with the plants corporate departments and upper management to facilitate necessary change while meeting customer needs

Requirements:
- 4 year degree required; Engineering/Accounting degree preferred
- Strong project management and communication skills (written and oral)
- Six Sigma Black Belt trained or willingness to complete training
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Previous manufacturing experience (preferred)
