Job Overview:

We are seeking a Cloud Network Operations Engineer. The ideal candidate will understand multicloud environments primarily with AWS and Azure and have some experience with other cloud providers such as OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) and Equinix cloud infrastructure as a plus. You will be responsible for managing cloud networking infrastructure primarily focusing on firewall security scalability and network performance. Expertise in Azure services required including Virtual WAN (vWAN) Network Security Groups (NSG) firewalls and cloudbased routing transit gateways and native Load balancing is essential. Experience with virtual firewalls such as Palo Alto or Fortigate a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementation:
  • Manage cloud solutions primarily on Azure and AWS. Knowledge of Google Cloud Equinix and OCI platform experience a plus.
  • Understanding how to connect Cloud infrastructure to legacy onprem data centers.
  • Develop and implement complex cloud environments focusing on infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform ARM templates or CloudFormation.
  • Configure and optimize Azure Virtual WAN (vWAN) for global connectivity.
  • Understand how to setup and configure Express Routes to onPrem and other cloud solutions.

• Security and Compliance:
  • Implement and manage Network Security Groups (NSG) firewalls and other security mechanisms to protect cloud environments.
  • Ensure cloud infrastructure meets compliance and security standards conducting regular audits and assessments.
  • Knowledge of Virtual firewalls such as Palo Alto or Fortigate a plus

• Networking and Routing:
  • Manage cloud networking components including VPCs subnets and routing tables.
  • Configure and maintain routing protocols and ensure efficient traffic flow between onpremises and cloud environments.
  • Understanding cloud native load balancing in Azure AWS and OCI
  • Knowledge of Virtual Load Balancers such as F5 a plus

• Collaboration and Support:
  • Work closely with Network engineering teams and development teams to ensure smooth deployment of applications and services.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for cloud security and infrastructure issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• 3 years of experience as a Cloud Security Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong expertise in Azure including Virtual WAN (vWAN) Network Security Groups (NSG) and other core services.
• Proficiency in Azure AWS and Equinix with a solid understanding of cloud networking load balancing security and firewall management.
• Handson experience with cloud routing firewalls and VPNs.
• Strong problemsolving skills with a focus on cloud network security performance and reliability.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
