Duties and Responsibilities: Work under the supervision of the Special Education Coordinator of Related Services responsible for supervision of therapy students through the IEP process for speech and language services using appropriate standardized and informal written evaluation reports according to the standards and timelines of the Brockton Public Schools special education special education team meetings and report evaluations student progress and supporting direct services in communication development for identified students as required by the and implement progress monitoring procedures and collect appropriate data on individual individual students according to IEP goals and objectives and consult to IEP Teams as general educators in the areas of referrals screenings recommendations modeling coaching and professional development trainings to maximize inclusion opportunities for students that promote access to the core with the school based educational team to ensure safe and functional activities to assist in the development of individual student communication skills throughout the school other duties as assigned by the Director / Assistant Directors of Special Education.
